Cuando Ed Catmull era joven tenía un sueño: hacer la primera película de animación por ordenador. Persiguió este sueño como estudiante en la Universidad de Utah, y se asoció con George Lucas, en una colaboración que, indirectamente, le llevó a fundar Pixar con Steve Jobs y John Lasseter en 1986. Not what I expected

It is a review of what Pixar did to stay creative despite its growth. But the books has too much of "we are a great company with great employees" and less of an insight of what you can learn from them. The final chapter gives you some lessons but i feel that the same things could have been said without so many pages.

Cómo creativos y empresarios debemos de ser lectores voraces de todo tipo de libros. En mi opinión, esto es esencial para el éxito y desarrollo de nuestra creatividad.
Este fin de semana comencé a leer el libro Creatividad SA, Cómo llevar la inspiración hasta el infinito y más allá y me parece que es lectura esencial. La buena noticia es que está en Español además de estar en Inglés.

Más que un libro de memorias o de recetas empresariales, Catmull ha logrado construir un texto de estudio, con ideas profundas, ricas y estimulantes. Cualquier persona dispuesta a aprender debería leerlo.
