Excellent resource for learning blues piano

This book includes the Beginning, Intermediate, and Mastering books together in one volume with the audio materials for all three on one CD. If you have the basics of playing piano, perhaps book 1 of an introduction to piano book, you should be able to start on this book. It does move along at a pretty good speed so even more proficient players will probably find useful material in the Beginning book if they are new to the blues. I haven't really gotten into the Intermediate book but it looks promising. If you are just starting out you will probably easily spend a year and quite possibly several to master all the material presented.
This book will teach you how to get that elusive "blues sound" and get you beyond the basic 12 bar patterns so that you can start to sound like you know what you are doing.

Excellent book! I implore anyone who gets this to purchase the accompanying CD. Just listening to the countless examples provided inspires anyone whose interest extends to R n B, Soul, Gospel, as well as Blues. If Motown and Stax records are your thing, then look no further.

Great book. Great price.

Great set of books. I had planned on buying the first in this series so when I saw the complete set for one low price I bought it immediately. I love the way the lesson progress and build off of each previous lesson. Very challenging but comprehensive in its method. Full of great tips and interesting blues piano history. CD examples are are great. I am very, very satisfied with this book.
